Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Durable flat tangle proof cable
  • Deep and smooth bass
  • Highs and mids stand out, not drowned by bass
  • No distortion at any volume
  • Decent noise reduction
Cons

  • Pricey
  • Cable weighs down earbuds
  • Uncomfortable to certain consumers

The Beats By Dr.Dre - Tour edition is quite impressive to most users. It is both well in style and performance. The flat duraflex cables is basically not found in many headphones. These tangle-proof cables are quite useful if you get annoyed of untangling the cable. Even if you put these headphones in your pocket and start moving a lot, all you have to do is just straighten it, which takes less than five seconds.
The noise isolation of these headphones is decent. Once you find the right size using the ear tips that came with the headphones, they will be a perfect fit (not to all users though). If you put the volume up to 40%, you will not be able to hear noise from the environment you are in (varies). With good isolation, you are able to hear the deep bass from the music being played.
The downside about these headphones is that they can be really uncomfortable. With all the extra weight from the cables, you are going to feel the headphones and eventually it will fall out. If you leave these in-ear headphones on for an extended period of time, you will feel that it is very uncomfortable. These headphones are a bit pricey for the sound it produces. But it really can't be blamed for, it's the headphones of a famous artist. You can find similar headphones just without the brand name and design for around one hundred dollars.
Would I recommend this in-ear headphone? It really depends on what genres you listen to and if you find a perfect fit. It also depends on if your willing to pay extra for the design and brand name. These in-ear headphones are recommended for bass heavy genres, such as R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, and Rap. Otherwise, these in-ear headphones are not really for you. I would recommend you try these headphones out before buying them just to make sure these are right for you. You can also buy them and return them if you don't like them from retailers such as Best Buy. Remember not to compare them to the Beats Over the Ear Headphones by Dr. Dre.
